There are many claims about Tarot, most rooted in mythology.

Tarot cards trace back to fourteenth-century Italy, France, and Germany and were initially designed as playing cards.

The introduction of new decks such as the Marseille, the Nouveau, or the Minchiate, featuring astrological elements, Kabbalistic symbology, ancient Egyptian religion, and numerology gave way to the occult tradition of using Tarot cards as a tool for divination and exploring the mysterious link between the earthly world and the divine.

Taromancy reached its peak in the early 19th century with the rise of Spiritism and seance circles summoning departed souls and claiming to communicate with the dead.

Thus, giving card reading a bad name for posterity.

Tarot was rehabilitated as a powerful tool for introspection, self-analysis, and personal development thanks to Dr. Carl Jung and his Theory Of The Archetypes, inspired by the twenty-two major Arcanas and still used by modern psychology.

It has become abundantly clear that

cards have no magical powers.

They're not a portal for dark entities.

Nobody can curse you.

Witchcraft, black magic, and other goblins belong in the Middle Ages with chastity belts and talking donkeys.

Modern-day legitimate readers focus on bringing clarity in a given situation through sound readings.

The energies involved at the time of the reading are the reflection of your own subconscious, my job as a reader is to interpret and deliver the most accurate message possible and anticipate the most likely outcome should you decide to stay on that path.
